PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a station name selective entering and displaying method allowing the user to handle easily by introducing such an arrangement that in the case the same station names are entered, the station name with higher likelihood is displayed in a higher priority. SOLUTION: The station name entering and selective displaying method works for a route guide in which one first selects a district, enters the station names to get on and off the train, and searches the route, wherein in the case there are a plurality of station names identical to the entered name, the one existing in the specified district is given on the display with a higher priority.
