PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide auxiliary equipment for a grease trap which can remove a bad odor and reduce or omit the frequency of cleaning by efficiently decomposing a fat and oil or an organic substance from the grease trap. SOLUTION: A fat and oil content on the water in a grease trap 2 is sucked from a skimmer 3 with a submerged updrawing pump 4 to be provided to an auxiliary tank 13 for the grease trap through an introduction pipe 6. In the auxiliary tank 13 for the grease trap, a submerged stirring pump 9, an air diffusion nozzle 8 for aeration, a filter element 7, or the like are located to decompose the fat and oil efficiently. And further, a certain amount of AM bacteria is regularly introduced in the tank from a bacteria introduction device 11 to stabilize the environment for decomposing the fat and oil. The quantity of overflow from the auxiliary tank 13 for the grease trap is returned to the grease trap through a return pipe 12.
