PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine enabling a player to enjoy performance in the shortest play time. SOLUTION: This slot machine 10 is provided with several reels, a reel driving means 500, a stop operating means 400 and a play control means 100. The play control means 100 is provided with a play time counting means 160 for counting the passing time from a start of the game and a play start permitting means 170 for permitting a start of the game provided that the count time counted by the play time counting means 160 passes the preset shortest play time (4.1 seconds for example). The slot machine 10 is also provided with a directing means 700. The play control means 100 is also provided with a direction control means 180 for carrying out the direction with the directing means 700 during the only play waiting time.
