PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced wood more enhanced in strength and durability and capable of being utilized outdoor as a slope protecting framework or the like. SOLUTION: The reinforced wood A is constituted of a log material 11 (wood 1) and a welded metal net 31 (reinforcing surface material 3) bonded to the surface of the log material 11 under tension, and the log material 11 is covered with the welded metal net 31 in its length direction to be reinforced. The wood 1 thus reinforced can be certainly applied to the slope protecting framework, the guard rail of a road, a falling rock preventing fence, shore protection works or the like.
