PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording head in which an appropriate driving voltage can be applied constantly even if the resistance of heating resistors or the thickness of a dielectric protective film is varied in the production process. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording head comprises resistive elements for measurement formed in the same process as heating resistors independently from the heating resistors and functional elements electrically, and dielectric elements for measurement having the same thickness as the dielectric protective film. An appropriate driving voltage is applied constantly to each head by measuring the resistance and capacitance of them electrically.
