PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the axial center of a punch and a die from bringing mutual misalignment by unifying a pair of adjoining punch holders or punches in press forming after completion of axial adjustment. SOLUTION: The multistage press forming machine is provided with a locking mechanism composed of eccentric bushes 21, 21 for changing the axial center fitted to the cylindrical outer periphery of a pair of adjacent punch holders 7, 7', a pair of split-grooved retaining holes 22a, 22a embracing and holding the eccentric bushes 21, 21, fastening bolts 23, 23 of the retaining holes 22a, 22a, and a lock plate 22 unifying a pair of adjacent punch holders 7, 7' aligned with each other.
