MONITORING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BRAKE DEVICE OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system to monitor a brake device of a vehicle using a sensor to measure the forces acting between the wheels and road surface. SOLUTION: The braking force and driving force of each wheel of the vehicle are measured using sensors to measure the force acting between each wheel and the road surface. The measurements of braking force are compared with each other or with the preset value stored in a memory unit. If the result from comparison exceeds the preset difference value between the measurements of braking force, and/or between one measured braking force and the preset braking force, judgement is passed that any failure has occurred in the brake device.
