PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for continuously and stably manufacturing a master batch containing a large amount of polyisobutylene over a long time. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the master batch for modifying a resin by continuously transferring a polyolefin in a continuous kneader and continuously adding polyisobutylene to the transferred polyolefin and continuously melting the polyolefin and polyisobutylene to knead them, the polyolefin is allowed to be present in a non-molten state at a place where polyisobutylene is added in the continuous kneader.
