PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submerged monitoring support device that is adjustable in the direction and height position of the field of view of a camera. SOLUTION: The submerged monitoring support device comprises a vehicle 1 having floats 6 and propeller drive units 12 and movable on a liquid level 13, a winch 2 arranged on the vehicle 1 and having a rotatable drum 20, and a wire 19 entrained about the drum 20 so as to be submerged in a suspended position and having the camera 3 of a liquid-tight structure locked on an unreeled end. An increase or decrease in the unreeled length of the wire 19 from the drum 20 adjusts the submerged height position of the field of view of the camera 3. An operation of the propeller drive units 12 moves the camera 3 locked on the wire 19 together with the vehicle 1 to adjust the submerged direction of the field of view of the camera 3.
