PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent propagation of sundry germs and generation of malodor and implement utilization of water by effectively performing electrolytic disinfection of waters to be treated such as bathtub and well waters, etc. SOLUTION: For performing electrolytic disinfection of waters to be treated by applying a direct current voltage to a non-diaphragm cell, the operational condition is water flow: 0.1-5 l/min., electric power: 10-500 W and current: 4-10A. In the non-diaphragm cell 10, a plurality of plate type anodes 11 and cathodes 12 are located alternately and the water to be treated passes among these electrodes. The electrodes 11, 12 are made by alloy of Ti, Pd and Ir, and the distance between electrodes is 1-3 mm.
