PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell allowing easy arrangement and handling of a large area insulation plate on a stack laminate surface, eliminating danger of carbonization short in the insulation plate, and capable of dealing with an insulation resistance recovery after a stack temperature rise. SOLUTION: This fuel cell comprises a cell block formed of plural layered single cells, a cell module provided with a gas header to supply fuel gas arranged on upper and lower of the cell block, and an insulation plate 14 for electrical insulation arranged on the laminate surface of the cell module 12. The insulation plate 14 is mounted on a support plate surface of an exclusive jig 1 and more than one gas piping are built in the exclusive jig 1 and many air supply holes to uniformly supply gas containing oxygen to the insulation plate 14 mounted on the support plate surface are provided on the gas piping and the support plate surface. Moreover, the gas piping is constructed so as to be connected to an external pipe supplying gas containing oxygen. |
