PURPOSE: To provide a reversible thermal recording material good in color forming and erasing properties and showing color forming properties of high density. CONSTITUTION: A reversible thermal recording layer containing a usually colorless or light-colored electron donating dye precursor and a reversible coupler allowing the dye precursor to form a color by heating and erasing the formed color by reheating is provided on at least the single surface of a support and an overcoat layer consisting of particles of aluminum hydroxide and a resin is provided thereon. |
