<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a jam sheet stopped by being pinched by nips of a register roller pair from being drawn out upstream by an operator. CONSTITUTION: A gear 4 is fixed on one end of a roller shaft 2 of a driving side roller 1a of a register roller pair 1, a gear 6 supported to a supporting member 5 fixed on an image forming device main body is meshed with the gear 4, and a shaft 6a of the gear 6 is rotatably and movably fitted into an elliptic hole 7 of the supporting member 5. When the gear 4 to be rotated together with the driving side roller 1a is rotated counterclockwise (in conveying of the sheet), the gear 6 is brought close to the direction of the arrow A (the shaft 6a is positioned on the right end of the long hole 7) and idled, and when the gear 4 is rotated clockwise, the gear 6 is brought close to the direction opposite to the direction of the arrow A, deeply meshed with the gear 4, and can not be idled. At this time, the register roller pair 1 is brought into the lock state.</p> |
