PURPOSE: An anode button inspecting apparatus of a panel of a cathode ray tube is provided to efficiently inspect fusing of an anode button and fusing quality. CONSTITUTION: An anode button inspecting apparatus comprises a support plate(14), a camera(17), a controlling unit, and a lifting unit(20). A funnel(10) to be inspected is placed on the support plate(14) having an inclined block(16). The camera(17) is arranged as spaced from the funnel(10) over the support plate(14) for imaging a fused position(A) of the anode button(12). The controlling unit determines whether the anode button is well fused or not, based on a signal from the camera(17). The lifting unit(20) supports the camera(17) and lifts the camera(17) to the fused position(A). The controlling unit displays badness of the inspected funnel(10) on an alarm generator for an audible signal or a display for a visible signal.
