PURPOSE:To obtain the digital information copying device protecting information against an illegal act such as illegal copy and forgery of digital information after the reception. CONSTITUTION:Digital information ciphered by using a common key is received via a communication control section 2 and stored in an information storage section 3. Furthermore, a common key is stored in advance in a common key storage section 41 and a verification section 43 verifies forgery of the digital information stored in an information protection section 4 from the section 3. Based on the result of verification, a decoding section 44 decodes the digital information received by an information protection section 4 by using the common key. Furthermore, a utilizing state management section 48 manages storage of output information and when a control section 49 discriminates the normality of the utilizing state management section 48, the control section 49 allows a copy output section 47 to copy and output the decoded digital information to a package medium suitable for the information. Thus, the copy right of an author and the information server and its benefit are protected. |
