METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SHORT MESSAGE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a short message in a mobile communication terminal is provided to directly transmit a character message in a telephone directory menu using the telephone directory menu and a callee terminal number retrieved in a latest call list. CONSTITUTION: A user searches a callee terminal number for sending a short message, and selects the callee terminal number(S210). In case that the user sends the short message to frequently calling person, the user selects a latest call list menu(S220). In case that the user wants to send the short message to the selected callee, the user enters in a message send menu(S230), writes the transmitting short message(S240), and inputs a user number(S250). After the user selects a short message transmission speed, the user sends the written short message(S260).
