PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC chip reader/writer capable of miniaturizing the whole device and increasing the speed of processing operation by using a structurally strong IC chip capable of reading and writing information in a non- contact state instead of a paper card or plastic card and compactly collecting various functions such as receiving, read/write, waiting and collection of the chip. SOLUTION: A sorting disk 10 constituted so as to be reversibly and freely rotatable by stepping motor 11 is provided with a plurality of housing chambers 10A for housing an IC chip MC or SC. In this case, the accepting position of the IC chip MC or SC, an access position for reading/writing data, an ejecting position for ejecting the IC chip MP or SC, and a collecting position are arranged on the rotary locus of the sorting disk 10. |
