PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information server capable of easily providing data to the user of external equipment. SOLUTION: A PR server transmits data for substitutive costs corresponding to the communication tariff of client equipment to the client equipment in response to the request of the client equipment which performs communication (S1-S6). Then, the user of the client equipment visits a store related with a PR server, and receives the payment of the communication tariff from the PR server (S7-S13). That is, the PR server is allowed to share the communicating tariff to be imposed on the client equipment by itself. Thus, it is possible for the user of the client equipment to communicate with the PR server without worrying about the communication tariff. Therefore, the PR server is constituted as an information server capable of easily providing information to the user. |
