PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit for processing a signal adopting the direct conversion system that suppresses fluctuations in a DC voltage of an output of a variable gain amplifier in the case of transit to a reception mode to reproduce a stable reception characteristic thereby enhancing the reception sensitivity. SOLUTION: In the semiconductor integrated circuit for processing a signal adopting the direct conversion system, when a reception mode is transited from an idle more or the like, reference voltage generating circuits (VRC 121, 122 and 123) that generate a reference voltage to restrict a current of a current source supplying operating currents to amplifiers (PGA1, PGA2 and PGA3 or the like) being components of a reception system circuit (110) are booted to supply a current to a constant current source of the amplifiers after the generated reference voltage is stabilized.
