PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem where peaking characteristics are obtained by connecting an inductor in series with a pull-up resistor of an non-inversted output switch of an LD drive circuit, and the rise/fall time of LD light emission is reduced in the conventional case, however, increase is generated in a high frequency region as compared with an output impedance of an inversion side, and balance of differential operation is not obtained, so that overshoot is generated. SOLUTION: On both the non-inversion output side and the inversion output side of a differential amplifier which outputs a modulated current for driving the LD, inductors are connected in series with the pull-up resistors. Thereby unbalance of the differential operation is eliminated, and overshoot is reduced, while the rise time maintained as it is.
