<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio unit being fixed to an electronic unit realizing high quality radio communication insusceptible to unwanted radio waves. SOLUTION: The radio unit comprises a radio body 12 being inserted into the PCMCIA slot of a personal computer, and an antenna formed integrally with the radio body 12. The antenna is disposed such that it is located on the outside of the personal computer when the radio unit body 12 is fixed to the personal computer. A radome 16 is provided to cover the antenna. The radome 16 has a shield part 42 for preventing unwanted radio waves generated from the personal computer from reaching the antenna at a part located between the antenna and the personal computer when the radio unit body 12 is fixed to the personal computer.</p> |
