PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the most suitable setting being unable to be made, since better image quality can be obtained, when image processing is made on a television monitor without image processings in a digital television receiver than up-convert processing that is set by a digital television receiver, when image-processing capacitor being provided at the side of the television monitor is superior, if the output image format of the digital television receiver is set, without having to consider the performance of the connected television monitor. SOLUTION: Viewing with the most optimum image quality can be made by inputting the information of the television monitor connected to the digital television receiver.
