PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal that improves its processing speed by using the memory optimally. SOLUTION: The CPU 121 of a controlling part 12 makes data access information reflected in a management table stored in a RAM 123 every time an inputting part 16 issues data access instruction. When there is no hindrance to the communication function of this portable communication terminal, the CPU 121 switches data storage destinations so as to store data with high utilization frequency in an internal storage device 13 whose access speed is fast, and meanwhile, so as to store data with low utilization frequency in an external storage device 14 whose memory capacity is large and whose access speed is slow on the basis of the management table stored in the RAM 123.
