PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication unit that can prevent received data from accidentally being erased. SOLUTION: A facsimile terminal of this invention is provided with a RAM 12 that stores facsimile reception data, a display section 24 that displays the facsimile reception data, and a print section 22 that records the facsimile reception data, and a CPU 10 inhibits the facsimile reception data not displayed and recorded over one page or more by the display section 24 and the print section 22 from being erased in the RAM 12.
