PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a means for realizing a small-sized ladder-type surface acoustic wave filter having a broad band. SOLUTION: In the ladder-type surface acoustic wave filter wherein a plurality of single terminal pair surface acoustic wave resonators are arranged in the form of a ladder, an inductor is so connected from the outside of the package of the filter in series with the single terminal pair surface acoustic wave resonator which has a lowest impedance among the single terminal pair surface acoustic wave resonators connected in parallel with each other as to configure the filter.
