PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting machine which can improve the mounting accuracy of a heater block by reducing the size of the machine by preventing heat generated from the heater block from being transmitted to an elevating/ lowering mechanism section side and, in addition, can save energy. SOLUTION: This mounting machine 10 is provided with a block 12 for heating and pressing having the heater block 22 and a block 42 for connection and an air cylinder 14 which elevates and lowers the block 12. The machine 10 is also provided with heat insulating materials 38T and 38U between the heater block 22 and block 42 for connection and grooves 36 on the ceiling surface 34 of the heater block 22. When the mounting machine 10 is constituted in this way, heat transfer to members which are in close contact with the heater block 22 can be minimized, because an air space lies between the block 22 and heat insulating material 38U, and a contact area between the block 22 and material 38U decreases.
