PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fast tripper switch enabling speedy tripping by increasing an electromagnetic force generated in a magnetic yoke even if a smaller magnetic yoke than any conventional fast tripper switch is used. SOLUTION: The fast tripper switch 1 is structured so as to directly open an electrode itself utilizing a magnetomotive force produced on the magnetic yoke by the short circuit current itself generated in any trouble occurrence. It extends one end of an electrode 2 and coils it around the magnetic yoke 3 to pass short circuit current through the magnetic yoke 3 by times of coil numbers and then increases the magnetomotive force produced by the magnetic yoke 3, directly open the electrode 2 itself at high speed.
