PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase change disk capable of accurate focus offset adjustment, its initialization device and the optical disk drive device. SOLUTION: The initialization device of the phase change disk of this invention on the initialization device which enables a rewritable phase change disk 1 to a recordable state, a initialization beam is radiated on the phase change disk 1 while wobbling it in the radius direction of the phase change disk 1 with the phase change disk kept in a rotating state. In the initialization device of the phase change disk, it is preferable to set the quantity of the wobbling to be equal to or more than the feeding pitch of the initialization.
