The invention relates to a method for transferring data from a service apparatus (10) to a remote central computer (5). The service apparatus (10) can communicate said data to the computer (5) via suitable transmission means (2, 4, 6). The invention is characterised in that the data to be transferred from said service apparatus (10) to the remote computer (5) are determined by said computer (5).
