PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely cut off the optical output of an optical burst signal from a slave station unit, by surely and easily specifying the slave station unit which is making abnormal output of an optical burst signal. SOLUTION: A master station unit 1 is provided with an optical burst signal monitoring section 3, which monitors the abnormality of the optical burst signal transmitted from the slave station unit 7 and identifies the specific slave station unit which emits abnormal light of the optical burst signal. The master station unit 1 is also provided with a stop signal transmitting section 4, which transmits the optical burst stop signal to the specified slave station unit. The slave station unit 7 is provided with a stop signal monitoring section 10, which monitors the reception of the optical burst stop signal transmitted from the master station unit, 1 an optical burst signal cut-off section 8 and a stop command execution section 11. The optical burst signal cut-off section 8 cuts off transmission of the optical burst signal directed toward the master station unit 1. When the stop signal monitoring section 10 receives the optical burst stop signal, the stop command execution section 11 outputs a command to cut off the transmission of the optical burst signal from the slave station unit 7, at least towards the optical burst signal cut-off section 8. |
