PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video image transmission technology by which a user can watch a video image of a digital broadcast program with a conventional receiver not adaptable to a stereoscopic video image and by which the user can watch a stereoscopic video image with a receiver adaptable to the stereoscopic video image. SOLUTION: The stereoscopic video image transmission technology is characterized in that L channel video data and R channel video data are transmitted as different components in video and audio components configuring one program and a receiver side selects the required data. |
