PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional image forming device that it has inconvenience in immediately grasping how much image information can be stored in an idle capacity because the conventional device displays the consumed quantity of a storage device in the ratio of the consumed quantity to the entire storage capacity. SOLUTION: The image forming device of this invention displays the occupied capacity or the idle capacity of the storage device by the number of images.
