<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device that can avoid disadvantages such as emission of an undesired electromagnetic wave via an antenna not in use and adverse effect of the unwanted electromagnetic wave made incident from the antenna onto an operation of an internal circuit so as to maintain stable device operations at all times independently of use/non-use of the antenna and can easily realize a system customize mechanism including selective mounting and mounting release of radio communication functions and to provide a method for containing an antenna cable. SOLUTION: When a radio unit 13 for a wireless LAN is not mounted on a radio unit container section 11, terminals 28, 29 provided at antenna leads 25, 26 of an antenna element for the wireless LAN are supported at prescribed positions in the radio unit container section 11 by a shield gasket 15 acting like an antenna lead support section and the level of the terminals 28, 29 is kept to a ground level of an enclosure.</p> |
