<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a horizontal direction position and a perpendicular direction position of a beam using the same signal pulling-out electrodes. SOLUTION: Four signal pulling-out electrodes 10UL to 10DR, which make electric charge accompanied by passage of a beam induce, are formed in a triangle form, respectively. These two signal pulling-out electrodes are arranged by dividing them into 2 pieces for each upper and lower ones based on a design orbit 1s of the beam as a basis. An upper side level surface is formed by the two signal pulling-out electrodes 10UL and 10UR that have been arranged at the upper side, and a gap 14 of a straight-line shape, which crosses aslant to the advance direction of the beam, is formed between these electrodes. An lower side level surface is formed by the two signal pulling-out electrodes 10DL and 10DR that have been arranged at the lower side, and a gap 16 of a straight- line shape, which crosses aslant to the advance direction of the beam is formed between these electrodes. The four signal pulling-out electrodes 10UL to 10DR measure the beam positions of the horizontal direction and the perpendicular direction.</p> |
