<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission power controller and a transmission power compression method therefor, by which the communication quality of the as a whole is improved in the case of suppressing transmission power from a base station device, in a radio communication system carried out by a TPC (transmission control protocol). SOLUTION: A plurality of calls included in a transmission signal are classified into a plurality of groups on the basis of line types. For example, the calls are classified into line-switching type calls and packet-switching type calls. Next, the power value of the transmission signal is suppressed below the maximum allowable input power value of a power amplifier by suppressing individually the power value of each of the groups.</p> |
