<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave absorber which can sufficiently absorb a radio wave without increasing the thickness of a wave absorbing material layer and to provide an automatic rate colleting system using the wave absorber. SOLUTION: The wave absorber 10 is provided with a metallic member 1 whose one face becomes a waveform shape and the wave absorbing material layer 2 which is made in the waveform shape by adjusting it to the shape of one face of the metallic member 1 and is installed on one face of the metallic member 1. When the radio wave is made incident on the radio absorber 10, it passes through the wave absorbing material layer 2, is reflected on the metallic member 1 and passes through the wave absorbing material layer 2 again. The most part is emitted to air and the emitted wave is made incident on the wave absorbing material layer 2 again, passes through the wave absorbing material layer 2 and is reflected on the metallic member 1. It passes through the wave absorbing material layer 2 again and the most part is emitted to air. Namely, the most waves pass through the wave absorbing material layer 2 for four times. Thus, the wave is sufficiently absorbed without increasing the thickness of the wave absorbing material layer 2 in the wave absorber 10.</p> |
