PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system incorporating a camera capable of following the turned-on state of an illuminating lamp. SOLUTION: This lighting system comprises a fluorescent lamp 21, screwing and fastening parts 28 and 29 to which an auxiliary lamp can be screwed and fasten, a camera 100 screwed and fasten to the parts 28 and 29 and receiving power supply, and a signal superimposing circuit for superimposing a video signal from the camera 100 upon an external power current supplied from the outside.
