PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the user-friendliness by enabling optimum copying a device to make utilizing state of a user or a selective print of transfer data to be outputted. SOLUTION: The multi-function electronic printer has a configuration from a scanner section 1 to a printer section 13 and receives and stores the transfer data and copy data. The printer detects reception of the transfer data during print of copy data to discriminate conditions of automatic interruption. When execution of printing for interruption print output processing is confirmed, the printout of copy processing is temporarily interrupted and the control taking precedence of a printout of the transfer data over other jobs is executed. That is, when the user stays in the vicinity of the printer (or the user does not resides in the vicinity of the printer), the printout of copy with high priority (printout of transfer data with low priority) takes precedence over other jobs. Furthermore, the copy print processing is temporarily interrupted by the permission in response to automatic interruption of the other printout and the printout of the transfer data takes precedence over the other jobs. |
