PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head, in which the fluctuations of a still posture angle and load and also the change of a slider shape are evadable in the assembling process of a magnetic head device. SOLUTION: A take-out electrode 21 is furnished at the side end surface 23 of a slider 2. A metallic connection piece 6 is provided with a linear projecting part 62 and welded to the take-out electrode 21 by a welding part 61. The linear projecting part 62 is projected from the side end surface 23 of the slider 2.
