PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs according to the request for reducing height without decreasing the functions in an antenna module that is used by being built into a cellular phone, a simplified cellular phone (PHS), an ID card, and the like. SOLUTION: A terminal 7 for signals and ground terminals 8 and 9 are provided at an antenna-mounting board 6, an antenna element 2 is mounted to the antenna-mounting board 6 for making a continuity with the terminal 7 for signals and the ground terminals 8 and 9. An antenna-burying groove 12a is formed on a motherboard 12, and an antenna element 2 is dropped into the antenna-burying groove 12a. The terminal 7 for signals and the ground terminals 8 and 9 of the antenna-mounting board 6 are soldered to the motherboard 12, thus mounting the antenna element 2 so that the element 2 can be buried into the mother board 12 for inhibiting packaging height, and eliminating the need for such an expensive component as a coaxial cable. |
