PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device for a portable electronic apparatus, which can maximize the life of an external charging battery in charging a battery in a body of a portable electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: A battery 1 from the main body and a charging battery 2 are connected through a transforming means 6 for transforming power to constant voltage. The charging battery 2 is connected in series by using a plurality of batteries 1a. The whole voltage of the charging battery 1 is higher than the voltage of the charging battery 2.
