PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic beam correction circuit that can prevent a reference signal used to correct the color reproducibility of a video signal from being displayed on a screen resulting in causing eyesore by means of detection of a cathode current and can selectively set a plurality of color temperatures. SOLUTION: Color temperature reference data storage sections 51-53 store a plurality of different color temperature reference data. A color temperature changeover control section 14 and a switch SW2 select the color temperature reference data. A reference signal S2 is superimposed on a video signal S1 to generate setting data to correct the white balance of the video signal S1 and a color temperature data memory 13 stores the generated data. When the reference signal S2 is not superimposed by a changeover control section 12 and a switch SW1, the setting data stored in the color temperature data memory 13 are fed to a video preamplifier 2.
