PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock releasing tool that facilitates releasing of locking state and protects the finger of the operator. SOLUTION: The lock releasing tool for releasing the locking state of a connector, which comprises a protrusion part 17a of which lock piece 17 engages with the opposite connector 31 and locks and a free top end part 21 that separates the protrusion part 17a from the opposite connector 31 in releasing the locking state and releases the engagement, comprises a fitting part 3 capable of fitting on the finger 51, and a protrusion 5 for releasing the locking state by pressing on the free top end part 21. The protrusion 5 protrudes to the outside from the outer face of the above fitting part 3.
