PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a printed circuit board which has sufficient strength against insertion pressure even when miniaturized and made to have multi-pole. SOLUTION: Contact fixing holes are arranged in staggered shape with an insertion groove 24 between them, and using two kinds of contacts, that are surface side contacts 26a having a repulsive force receiving fixed piece 32 arranged at the backside of a contact spring piece 32, and back side contacts 26b having a repulsive force receiving fixed piece 32 arranged at the backside of a contact spring piece 32, the surface side contacts 26a, 26a are inserted with pressure into the surface side contact fixing holes 28a, 28a... on the front surface of the printed circuit board, and the back side contacts 26b, 26b are inserted with pressure into the back side contact fixing holes 28b, 28b... on the back surface of the printed circuit board.
