PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating system for fire extinguishing facility making a fire confirmable by transmission of fire information to a portable telephone, capable of performing quick extinguishments of the fire by a manual start of the fire extinguishing facility from the portable telephone, and capable of quick coping with the fire by facilitating confirmation of the existence of fire by the portable telephone away from home. SOLUTION: The fire extinguishing facility 1 is provided with an operator control panel 5. When a fire signal is inputted to the operator control panel 5, fire information is sent as speech information or character information or the like to the portable telephone 6 in addition to functions such as an automatic start in an operator control panel 5 side, the manual start in the operator control panel 5 is provided by communication from the mobile telephone 6, and a reception existence of the fire signal can be confirmed by communicating to the operator control panel 5 from the portable telephone 6 at normal times.
