METHOD OF PRODUCING CARBONACEOUS MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a carbonaceous molding having less electric resistance, great mechanical strength and flexibility while maintaining good molding property thereof. SOLUTION: The method comprises using one or multilayered flexible graphite sheet as a center layer 1 and carbonaceous powder molding materials integrally molded on both surfaces thereof to form surface layers 2. The used carbonaceous powder molding material is a carbonaceous powder and a phenolic resin powder dry-mixed substantially at a mass ratio of 92/8 to 70/30. The carbonaceous powder is preferably at least one selected from an expanded graphite powder and a scaled graphite powder.
