PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform a printing processing by using a printer connected to a network, without lowering the performance of local printers. SOLUTION: When a printing job is inputted, a processing amount Q of the local printers is measured, and based on the measured results, a distribution ratio of the printing job is set and updated according to a variation in the processing amount (Steps 100 to 110). Also, when the processing amount is short of the set value R, the transmission of the printing job to a redirect printer is stopped (Steps 108 to 122). Thus, while assuring the processing capacity of the local printers at specified values or more, the printing job is transmitted to the redirect printer for efficient printing processing. |
