PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive stackable switching hub dispensing with management circuits, which can provide an inexpensive configuration for stackable switching hub systems using devices of a single kind only. SOLUTION: As a repeater means, PHY (physical layer protocols) and MAC(medium access controller) switches connected with multiple LAN terminal connection ports and each LAN terminal connection port, a cross point switch connected with each MAC switch, two bridges connected with the cross point switch as a stack connection means, two stack ports each of which is connected with each bridge, and a device ID switch which can be set by users, are provided. It is configured, so that the address information for the corresponding LAN port is set up for each MAC switch and the address information for each MAC switch and both stack points is set up for the cross point switch 102, based on the device ID number.
