PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a diversity receiver capable of suppressing the deterioration in reception sensitivity. SOLUTION: A receiving level calculating part 9 calculates the signal levels of received 0 system and one system RF signals. The receiving level reporting part 22 of a radio part 5a calculates 0 system and one system RF signal levels by subtracting the gain of the radio part 5a and the gain of a low-noise amplifying part 4a or 4d from the signal levels of 0 system and one system IF signals being the outputs of the radio part 5a for amplifying 0 system and one system RF signals to a prescribed level and also converting the 0 system and one system RF signals into the IF signals by using a common signal. An attenuation quantity calculating part 10 calculates the attenuation quantities of 0 system and one system RF signal levels, on the basis of these calculated signal levels, and a control part 11 controls corresponding variable attenuating parts 8a and 8b according to these attenuation quantities.
