PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more precisely control low speed of a motor by accurately compensate the influence of nonlinearity of a switching device. SOLUTION: This dead time compensation method for a motor drive controller includes a current command which generating unit, which generates current commands according to a prescribed algorithm, and a current control unit, which generates a voltage command according to the current command. The method also includes a step, in which the voltage command corresponding to the current command which is successively changed is measured, a step in which the resistance of a stator of a motor is estimated according to the measured voltage instruction value, and a step in which a dead time is compensated according to the estimated resistance of the stator. |
